Jackie Ketley: Textile Artist and Quilter

Jackie is an extremely admired past member of New Horizons and we show her work here for your enjoyment and respect.
I enjoy working in a non-traditional way, incorporating less usual materials, mixed media and digitised machine embroidery, into my quilts, usually dyeing and printing my own fabrics. I find myself increasingly interested in how old textiles and family ephemera can inform design ideas, taking elements of personal history and giving them new life.
